Kayaking, fishing, lawn games, music, and BBQ. What more can you ask for on a summer afternoon on a Black farm in North Carolina? Join us at The Cookout on July 17th from 4 pm to 8 pm for just that. Bring your blankets, fishing poles, umbrellas, and lawn chairs as we celebrate the tradition of NC BBQ at First Fruits Farm in Louisburg, NC. 

The event is FREE for all. 

• Food tickets to support operations of the Black Farmers' Market can be purchased below. You must have a ticket to eat. 
• Chefs: Ryan Mitchell alongside his dad, legendary Pitmaster Ed Mitchell, from The Pit
• Our Menu features produce & meats from the Black Farmers' Market Trade Union.

Note: Kayaks will be available on site for rent through Xplore Kayaks. Please bring your own fishing gear. Minnows are not allowed as bait. Fishing is catch and release only, using artificial lures and worms.
